These are our cats, Freya and Momo.

Freya is the one above Alice’s head and Momo is the one in my lap — don’t be fooled by their sizes in these pictures, Momo is about twice the size of Freya.

Long story short, we adopted Momo (short for Momotaro) and after he beat up my hand plenty, we decided he needed someone he could wrestle with, so we adopted Freya (named after Freyja from Norse mythology — guess who named which cat ).

They keep us company, knead plenty and anxiously await any and all time they get to spend in front of the camera.
